I'm reading "The Series of Unfortunate Events; Book 5 Austere Academy". In my book there are 3 main characters, Violet, Klaus, and Sunny Baudelaire, 3 very loving siblings. Their parents died in tragic fire and now they've been traveling from guardian to guardian, looking for a stable home. Count Olaf, the orphans' first guardian, has been following them around everywhere, trying to get his filthy hands on the ginormous Baudelaire fortune. This is a very sad but exciting book with great characters that make the story so much better. Let me tell you about Violet first.
Violet Baudelaire is 14 years old and the oldest of the 3 Baudelaire orphans. She has long, dark brown hair and a pretty face, and loves inventing things. You can always tell when Violet is about to invent something because she ties her hair up in a dark blue ribbon. In the past stories, Violet always comes up with a good invention to help her family when they get into trouble. She respects the adults, even when she's trying to convince her guardians that Olaf is there, he's just in disguise. Violet's plans to let everyone know who Olaf really is never fail. The police always get there in time. Sadly, she can't keep him from escaping.
The next main character in my story is Klaus Baudelaire. Klaus is 12 years old and the middle Baudelaire child. He has large, coke-bottle glasses and a lot of freckles. An important thing about Klaus is he loves to read. Back at the Baudelaire mansion before it was burned, The family had a library with every kind of book you could imagine. Klaus had read every single book in that library and he was working on reading them twice. Whenever Klaus's siblings don't know something or what a word means Klaus can always remember what it is, all because he read a book about it.
My last Character is little Sunny Baudelaire, the youngest of the 3 sibling. She is only about 2 years old and the size of a loaf of bread. Sunny had a very unusual quality to herself, and that is her love of biting. She has four very sharp teeth, 2 on the top of her mouth, and 2 on the bottom. She loves to bite anything, from wood to rubber toys. You name it, she'll bite it. Aside from that, Sunny is compassionate and caring and tries to do everything she can to help her brother and sister. Especially if that means she gets to bite some things.

nicely written. How about what goes on in their minds? Any goals you could attribute to one or the other?
ReplyDeleteI love the way you told about Sunny's biting problem. And how you could tell when Violet is going to invent something. You culd try to tell some of the things that the kids have gone through earlier in there life.
ReplyDeleteI know this book doesn't really show the past, but i agree with Ashley! Also Count Olaf is a bigpart of the book, but i know that would have been difficult to add! GOOD!!(:
