This is the second post for my October/November book report. Once again, the title of the book I read is, "The Series Of Unfortunate Events; Book 7 The Carnivorous Carnival". This book is about three siblings, orphans to be exact, that lost their parents in a very deadly fire. The fire burnt down their whole home, and everything in it.
I would recommend this book to just about everyone. It’s one of my favorite books and I think that anybody who read it would like it. Some adults may not enjoy this book as much as I do though. "The Series Of Unfortunate Events; Book 7 The Carnivorous Carnival” is written in a way that more kids than adults would be able to relate to. The book explains how the kids feel without their parents, and how lonely they have all felt without their parents. Some adults may not be able to relate to these feelings so much because it has been a while since they’ve had to depend on their parents and they could have forgotten how much they really need their parents.
I also think that kids would be able to relate to this book very well because they rely on their parents so much. They could be able to partially imagine what it would feel like to lose their parents and they may help them like or understand the book better.
Also, I don’t think children that are too young should read this book because it may be too violent for them. They could get night mares because in this book there is a man with hooks for hands and I lady gets eaten by lions.
All that aside, I think that this book is a great book for almost everyone to read.
